As an educator I strive to be my best for the students I serve. I want to prepare students for the future and assist them in achieving their dreams and I enjoy seeing students blossom and learn day by day.
I have taught most elementary levels, with the exception of Kindergarten and Fifth Grade. While obtaining my degree in counseling education I was able to work with older students in the middle and high school settings. I have also been a substitute teacher for all levels K-12.
I have a love of math and know it can be challenging; learning the foundation helps make the task a little easier. I really enjoy teaching reading and grammar as well. I believe reading is very important because it surrounds our everyday lives each day. Being a teacher in the public school system, I have had experience with all different levels of instruction.
