I have a Bachelor's Degree and Master's of Education degree in Special Education. I also have my Doctorate of Philosophy degree from Texas A&M University in Educational Psychology-Special Education.
I absolutely love to teach! I really enjoy making math fun. I hear people say they are not good at math or they hate math. Well, I hope to change those perceptions. With the right guidance everyone can excel at math! Through teaching Special Education, I have learned several math strategies and different ways of looking at the world of numbers. I have most experience with Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, College Algebra, and middle school math.
I also enjoy editing essays and assisting with writing. Through brainstorming and organizational strategies, essay writing can become a breeze... Whether you need help with a college entrance exam, college essay, or an essay for class, I am here to help.
When I am not teaching, I love to play with my 1 year old daughter, workout, eat, work in the yard, dance, and lip-sync!
Looking forward to working with you, or your child!
