There are a lot of great sites to see in Southampton, so put down the books and get out of the house every once in awhile. Cooper's Beach is a great place to start any break. The sandy beach offers a safe swimming environment due to the lifeguards posted along the beach. It is a great place for sunbathing and relaxing, and the relatively quiet beach offers a snack bar and chair rental service. Bring a book and lie out on the sand to get the perfect summer tan, or jump in the ocean and catch some waves. Either way, you'll love spending time at this beach.

For a more educational experience, visit the Southampton Historical Museum. The main part of the facility is housed within the Rogers Mansion, but the museum has expanded to include 12 historic structures. You can walk the grounds of the museum and explore the one-room schoolhouse, a barn from 1825, and a 19th-century paint store. The entire museum aims to show visitors what life in the town was like in the past.

Once you're out of the house and exploring the town, you'll never want to stop, but it is important to give plenty of attention to your studies. You could work to try to get ahead of the competition by taking advantage of tutoring in Southampton, NY.

The student and I had a great session. We worked through several math problems that he was stuck on, and studied a little for his upcoming test. We also worked through several chemistry problems. Mostly we focused on electronic configurations and learning about how to predict cations and anions on the periodic table.

Tutoring review by Brea in Southampton, NY
We went over the student's new phonics words. For her pretest she got 2 correct out of 10. After going over how to say the words, which she was able to sound out all of them, she spelled them correctly. We then went over the different ways of adding numbers to equal 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. She started being challenged once we got to 7 and up. Overall, her math is improving as well as her reading.

Tutoring review by Ingrid in Southampton, NY
I worked with the student today on the concept of Direct Variation and the equation y = kx. We did examples and she completed the homework assignment reviewing this concept. She was able to apply her understanding using the K equation to identify the direct variation and the value of K. She was also able to use proportions when given values for x and y to solve for an unknown y variable. She did well and did a great job on her homework this evening.

Tutoring review by Sean in Southampton, NY
In today's session, we covered topics regarding the processes of cellular respiration and photosynthesis. The student had specific questions on various topics regarding these processes, both on things that she was having trouble understanding and on things that she had gotten wrong on a recent quiz. We mostly covered the specifics of glycolysis, the electron transport chain (in both cellular respiration and photosynthesis), the Krebs cycle, and the Calvin cycle. She approached the session with a good attitude and was very willing to learn. She paid close attention and seemed to garner a better understanding of each of the topics we went over. I do not have any concerns from this session. She wants to continue to have sessions on an as-needed basis, so she will let me know when she would like to schedule a new session.
