About Me

Hello! I am a National Tutoring Association (NTA) certified professional advanced level tutor, 1 of only 3 in Illinois, and a Purdue University graduate with a Bachelor's in Business Management and Information Systems. Since September 2015, I have been a volunteer tutor at Waukegan to College, a non-profit organization in Waukegan, IL, that helps first-generation students with the process of getting into and through college. I tutor 5th to 12th grade students one-on-one, in-person and online, and work with them on mathematics (5th grade math to Calculus I), writing, their reading comprehension skills and vocabulary. To date, I have dedicated over 800 hours of service and have worked with over 50 students that are part of this organization. Since April 2022, I have also been a private tutor. To date, I have tutored over 250 students from across the US and Canada on a one-on-one basis online. I tutor elementary school to college level students, including adult learners, in mathematics (elementary school level to Calculus II), the SAT (all subjects), ACT (all subjects).I am deeply committed and passionate about working with students to ensure that they are receiving one-on-one instruction that is personalized to their needs, and to empower them to achieve academic success. I am approachable, and will respond promptly to any messages.
