About Me

I am passionate about education and love teaching young students. I have recently taken a leave of absence from teaching 2nd grade, after the birth of my daughter. I believe students learn the best when they are part of the process, meeting their needs where they are at. With how schooling has been the past 2 years, I double down on this statement. A student learns best when met at their level and then supported from there. I like to incorporate social & emotional learning where and when I am able. The student has to have their basic needs met, prior to being ready to absorb and attain curriculum. I am excited to work on this platform and continue reaching learners.
