About Me

I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on pre-medicine and minors in chemistry and psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. I have also recently received my Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Eastern Mennonite University in 2021. During my Masters program, I worked as a graduate TA for human physiology and worked closely with my students to ensure that they had the necessary support and materials to learn the subject matter. I am extremely passionate about learning and experiencing as many new things as possible in life. I am available to tutor a wide variety of subjects but am most passionate about science subjects and organizational/study skills. In my experience the most important part of tutoring is finding a strategy that works best for each individual. I am a firm believer that after taking the time to find a plan that works best, every student can be successful and find a love for learning. Outside of education, I am an advocate of mental and physical health which has helped developed my passions for hiking, working out, yoga, and reading.
