About Me

I am a graduate of The University of Houston, Texas. I received my Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Studies with a focus on Educational Psychology. I am a post graduate of University of Phoenix. I received my Masters in Business Administration with a focus on Global Management. I was an ESL teacher and private tutor in South America for 22 years. Personal Statement:I am most passionate tutoring all levels of Spanish, and ESL for foreigners. In my experience helping struggling students, I discovered that focusing on personalizing the learning, incorporating connections to their interests, teaching to their strengths, and minimizing their weaknesses are powerful ways to help them achieve higher academic performance. I am a firm advocate of learning, believing it to be a lifelong journey of discovery, essential for an enhanced quality of life, and I try to convey this to all of my students.
