About Me

People are my passion and learning is my favorite pastime. The combination of the two lead me to my field of studyconvergence journalism with an emphasis in humanitarian journalism. I earned my degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in 2014. Upon graduating, I've applied my skills to different jobs in varying industries. These roles include reporting, marketing, research, technology and teaching. My goal when working with students is to help them understand the "why" behind what they are learning. I want to help them see how the information they're learning can be applied to life outside of the classroom. Words are my passion. Therefore, it brings me joy to help students uncover their own potential and ability to clearly communicate.
