I try to incorporate the principles of Bloom's Taxonomy into my tutoring curriculum. This provides an effective and simple manner for students to monitor how they are progressing through the given material at any one time. How can you help a student become an independent learner? My ultimate goal for any student is to love learning as much as I do. As a student spends time with me through tutoring, I will introduce effective study habits and methods to increase the amount of learning on their own. I want all of my students to become independent learners, because then they can have the freedom to learn anything they desire!
