About Me

I have always held a passion for history and the arts of language and literature. I earned my BA in Philosophy at St Mary's College of Maryland and my MA in Ancient Languages at the Catholic University of America. I have tutored privately, as have also taught 1st and 3rd grade in the public school system. I want to help prepare young people for adulthood by bettering their writing skills, in addition to instilling in them a true love for reading. My goal is not simply to teach, but also to inspire a love of learning. Any student can learn a subject if they discover the methods that serve them best. A good teacher helps a student discover their own best methods.
