About Me

I am a graduate of Central Washington University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Since graduation, I have had the opportunity to teach in a variety of grade levels and subject matters. Although I am comfortable with most subjects, I feel most passionate about English, Literature, and History. I believe in a student driven approach to teaching that adapts and adjusts to different learning styles and personal traits in order to best serve my student's needs. Learning is a lifelong process and should be encouraged and nurtured across all aspects of our daily lives and personal interactions. When I'm not tutoring, you might find me on a local trail or beach with my dog. I love the outdoors and anything that keeps me active, from martial arts to bicycling.
