About Me

I am a graduate of University of Maryland, College Park where I received a Bachelor of Science in kinesiological sciences with a focus in physical culture. While in college, I tutored many subjects including organic chemistry, anatomy and algebra. After graduation, I taught middle school science in Washington DC. I taught Earth science, Life science and Physical Science, to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders respectively. I also completed a Masters in the Arts of Teaching from American University. After teaching middle school, I was admitted to John Hopkins Medical School. Since entering medical school, I have privately tutored MCAT biological sciences and physical sciences as well as algebra and pre-calculus. I am now a graduating senior at Johns Hopkins going into the specialty of Child Psychiatry. I am passionate about education and helping students realize their full potential. In my free time, I enjoy rooting for DC area sports (Wizards, Nationals etc.), working out, lifting weights, and reading books about philosophy and social justice.
