About Me

I am originally from Chicago, Illinois, and I attended Brown University for college. I received my Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering. Since graduation, I have been attending the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, preparing to specialize in pediatrics. Throughout college and medical school, I tutored and taught both younger students and peers. I also have experience with curriculum development at the high school and graduate school levels, including a published, peer-reviewed medical school curriculum. While I tutor a broad range of subjects in the mathematics and sciences, I am most passionate about Calculus and Chemistry. I especially enjoy working with students on ACT and SAT science and math. I value education highly, and I view myself as a life-long learner. I greatly enjoy learning and working through problems, and I hope that my enthusiasm is contagious to my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (everything from Harry Potter to Richard Dawkins), knitting, golf, and traveling.
