About Me

I am a well-rounded and versatile instructor. I taught high school for Miami-Dade Public schools for six years in Miami, Florida. I primarily taught American and World history during the day. In the evening I was a Math and English teacher for GED prep classes. I would often substitute on my off days as an ESOL teacher for adults to improve their English. I was tutor in Reading and Math for the California public school system grades four through eight. I have an Associates of Science in Nuclear Medicine from Santa Fe College, a Bachelor's in Anthropology from the University of Florida and a Master's in International Relations with a focus in humanitarian assistance and development from the University of Geneva. I am effective educator that is able to adapt to changes in the curriculum. I have experience with students with learning differences and those with ADHD. I enjoy the service that teaching provides young minds to grow. I am comfortable with any age group of student and can adapt my lessons to the needs of individual accordingly. I am able to tutor in Algebra, Geometry, Social Studies, Organization, Time Management, Public Speaking, Writing Development, Reading Comprehension, Essay Editing, Grammar, Literature, Writing, GED and Test preparation. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, archery, scuba diving, and Ultimate Frisbee. I have traveled extensively throughout both Europe and Asia
