About Me

Hi, I was born and raised in Ireland and did my undergraduate education there where I got my bachlors in Cell and Molecular Biology. I came to the United States to go to grad school. I attended the University of Notre Dame and attained a PhD in Biology. It was during grad school that I got my love for teaching. Since finishing grad school I have been working as a teacher in various different capacities. At first I taught at the college level where I taught a wide variety of life science subjects. I also have worked for the last few years as a high school teacher. I like high school because I think you get to know students better than you do as a college professor. Getting to know students and helping students individually is why I tutor. As your tutor, I can understand how you learn and work with how you learn. I enjoy teaching any science subject and helping making it relevant to your life. In my spare time, I like to watch sports, including football, basketball and baseball. I enjoy music also and like to go to concerts of a wide variety of artists.
