About Me

I am a current student at the University of Arizona Eller College of Management. I will receive my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Finance in May of 2014. I have experience tutoring middle school students in various subjects after school. I also have experience tutoring a group of high school students in math, specifically Pre-Calculus and Calculus, and helping other students with various math subjects ranging from Algebra to Advanced Algebra. While I have experience tutoring in mathematics, English, and the ACT and SAT test preparation, math is definitely my passion. I believe that a strong basis in math will benefit any and every student and allow them to understand not only math subjects, but will allow the student to understand other subjects better as well. It is my belief that mathematics is not just based on repetition and memorization, but on a way of thinking that all students should embrace. My goal is to help students understand the problems they are trying to solve and to promote a critical thinking environment so the student can not only solve a given problem, but any problem they encounter that is similar to it. I am very vocal and will try to mold my tutoring style to each student's personal needs. Outside of school and work, I enjoy reading, working out, and mountain biking. I especially enjoy professional and college football and basketball as well.
