About Me

I am a recent Georgetown University Graduate School graduate where I majored in Biotechnology. I have had the pleasure of being a tutor since high school and have since had several years of tutoring experience mainly in Biology and Chemistry. While majoring in Chemistry as an undergrad, I was a tutor in the above subject areas for my school where I helped several students develop excellent learning and studying techniques in subjects ranging from General Chemistry and Biology to advanced courses such as Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. Outside of formal tutoring, I have often been the go to person, amongst my peers, to simplify complex concepts in the classes we are taking together. As I am very passionate about these subjects and teaching, I am an enthusiastic tutor who focuses on helping students strengthen their basic understanding of the major concepts from which point we work together to tackle weak areas and improve on their strengths. Additionally, I help students develop studying techniques which give them the confidence to become long term successful students. One of my greatest joys is to see students achieve their goals! My interest and hobbies include hanging out with family and friends, watching sports, Zumba, and traveling.
