I am UC Irvine graduate with a B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences. I am currently working towards earning my M.D. at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. I have five years experience tutoring a variety of subjects to students of all ages and learning levels. I feel that education is necessary and important in improving ones life, and that my role as a tutor is to package the course material into a digestible and easy-to-learn fashion. Outside of school, you can usually find me somewhere in the ocean freediving or taking photos.

Teaching is my passion! I home schooled my own children and I have taught students of all ages, though mostly elementary and middle school, in private and public school settings. Math and Latin are my primary subjects, but I also teach ancient history and classic literature. I love learning and sharing knowledge with others!

I am currently a student at Siena College. I will graduate with a Biology degree in hopes of attending medical school. All through out my academic career from middle school through college, I have been a part of peer tutoring programs at my schools. After classes, I would spend most of my days helping children with their homework and preparing for exams. I volunteered at the Queens Public library where I helped elementary and middle school children with their homework and projects. I was also in the peer tutoring program at my high school where I helped underclassmen with understanding their course material. Now in college, I have also started editing college admissions essays and assisting students in preparing for the SAT and PSAT, as well. Although I tutor in a variety of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Math, and Science. In my opinion, helping students to prepare and put together a well-written essay that they are fully content with is my favorite because I think writing is a great way to express ourselves, while it might seem stressful at times. I am a strong proponent of education and I believe that each student deserves to feel confident in what they are studying. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, playing volleyball, and doing yoga!

I recently graduated from Princeton University with an AB in Religion, and I am currently in the process of applying to Law School. I have tutored middle school and high school students in subjects ranging from 5th grade reading to geometry to the SAT. While I am happy and able to tutor a number of subjects, I am most passionate about Test Prep because these scores are very important to students, and I enjoy helping them to conquer the test and succeed. My teaching philosophy can be described as a coaching style in which, like athletics, I believe learning the subject matter, good techniques, and constant practice are the best ways to achieving better scores.I love staying active in lots of different ways whether it be playing sports, yoga, or even tough mudders. I like reading about and experiencing Art and Architecture as well as Fashion. I also enjoy experiencing other cultures through food and travel.

I recently graduated from Hofstra University with a double major in Early Childhood/Childhood Education and another degree in Drama. My teaching experience covers a wide variety of ages, topics, and settings. In addition to teaching in an in person and virtual general education setting grades PreK-6, I have also taught social-emotional and character development courses for theater students ages 5 through college. I recently was a head teacher of a summer school program for 4th grade English Language Learners to review ELA and Math content from the previous year. I have done 1-1 virtual and in person reading and writing tutoring throughout the last year combining hand-written work and online resources. While I love working with students of all ages, my passion lies with students at the elementary level. My philosophy of education centers around the idea that learning should be exciting, engaging, and inspiring students to become compassionate and curious citizens of the world. I strive to connect topics with student interest to make lessons more relevant and fun. In my free time I enjoy going on walks while listening to a podcast, playing virtual board games with my friends, and cooking up something fun for dinner while belting out my favorite musical soundtrack.
