I am a graduate of the University of Houston at Clear Lake. I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology with a concentration in Physiology/Pre-Health and a minor in Chemistry. Since high school I tutored many students ranging from primary to college level students on a variety of science and math related topics. While I tutor a broad range of science subjects, I am most passionate in Algebra, Geometry, Anatomy, Chemistry and General Biology. It is currently my second semester in the Tull School of Accounting here and I plan on pursuing a Masters of Accountancy in the graduate program. My engineering experience was heavily based in mathematics and physics which I used to solve a broad range of engineering challenges. Now, as a retired engineer, I have taken up tutoring students. I specialize in mathematics - Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. I am passionate about teaching and learning! I learned from many years of technical experience the value of thoroughly learning the fundamentals of science and mathematics. I really enjoy having students get engaged with the coursework and see them excel beyond their expectations. In my personal time, I enjoy music and amateur radio.

Before St. Mary's I received my bachelor's degree in Industrial and Applied Mathematics at the University of Texas at Arlington. Since graduation I have been a practicing attorney in San Antonio. I believe strongly in education, it is an absolute necessary to improve quality of life. I am particularly passionate about Math, because it can lay the foundation to deductive or logical reasoning. Which in turns enhances all aspects of life.

My teaching experience comes primarily from tutoring friends and family, coaching gymnastics, and mentoring FIRST Lego League (FLL) and Jr. FLL teams. The subjects I'm best equipped to tutor are: math, at any level up to college-level differential equations, and physics, whether at the high school level or a calculus-based college course. My favorite subject to tutor would probably be calculus. When I took calculus in high school, it was pretty life-changing for me, and so I like to help other students see how amazing it can be!I am a patient, understanding tutor.
