Ever since I've been in High School I've been interested in helping educate and instruct others. From tutoring peers to leading multiple clubs, I have many years of experiencing in assisting and explaining concepts to others. In terms of qualifications I am a 4th year Physics and Statistics major, and have completed many college classes in Physics, Mathematics, and Statistics. I have also taken many AP classes in high school including: AP Physics I and II, AP Calc AB and BC, and AP Chemistry.Also, I have experience in mastering standardized testing. For example in the span of a year I raised my SAT score from 1300 to 1540. I have also received 5s on multiple AP tests.

I have four years of full-time classroom teaching experience, but many more as a tutor. I started tutoring when I was in the sixth grade, and I now work with students from grades six through college. I also teach SAT and ACT preparation courses. While my favorite subject to teach is Social Studies, my Math and English students have gone on to great success as well. I know that every student has a unique learning style and success is often a matter of finding the right motivation. When I'm not teaching, my favorite thing to do is read to my own children.

I graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School in 2010 and Temple University in 2018. I am currently seeking employment in behavioral health. I have 3 years tutoring experience in an after-school learning center. The children there were mostly grades 2-9. I seek to teach in a logical yet interactive manner that promotes a strong grasp of basic concepts in order to solve problems of any level. If I find that my teaching is not fully effective, I will adjust my style as much as needed for students to learn. Patience and reasoning come naturally to me, as if I was born with them. This is why math is my strong point. I have received a great deal of extracurricular training on test-taking whether for the SATs or less predictable forms of testing. I have a further 2 years tutoring mostly SAT through Varsity. My students have improved their scores following my tutoring by 200-400 points depending on how much practice they allotted outside of tutoring to review our notes and methods.

I received my education from the University of Florida, where I am currently an undergraduate student working on obtaining my bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering! Over the last few years, I have gained great experience in tutoring my peers in the areas of math and science.
