As a student of Spanish/Latin American Studies, I analyzed the cultural nuances of the worlds Spanish-speaking diaspora. I am fluent in Spanish and have studied the language for more than ten years. My primary area of expertise is English Language Arts, including: creative writing; academic writing; and literary history. Stories shape the world, and the world is in turn shaped by stories; every book, play, song, and painting is a snapshot of a moment in history, of what the people of the time believed, and of how they acted out those beliefs. In better understanding our stories, we better understand ourselves, both as a larger human race and as individuals.
