I graduated from the University of South Florida in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological and Biomedical Sciences with minors in Public Health and Computer Science. I then went on to get my Masters of Science in Medical Science, with a concentration in neuroscience research.Throughout high school and college, I actively tutored privately and for different tutoring companies. I have tutored students of all ages (from elementary to adult) in subjects such as reading and writing, mathematics, science, grammar, English comp and lit, and in playing the violin.I especially love tutoring math and science, as I have a very strong background in these areas.I have experience working with children of all ages, and with different disabilities (such as ADD, ADHD, autism, Asperger's syndrome, and physical disabilities affecting the child's fine and gross motor skills).I aspire to earn my Doctorates in Physical Therapy, where I then wish to continue on to specialize in neurological physical therapy working children.My hobbies include playing the violin (I have played for more than 15 years), writing children's books, and creating music accompanying the books. As a Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington, I also taught a Professionalism course, which focused on building an online presence, project planning, effective communication, and other aspects of professionalism.I primarily teach computer science and technology related subjects. Like many students, I struggled throughout my first computer science class. I believe you can learn a lot from failure; for that reason, I love challenging and encouraging students to overcome their learning obstacles and reach their full potential.In my spare time, I enjoy working on side projects (I'm currently developing an app!), hiking, yoga, reading, UX/UI design, traveling, and DIY projects.

I know very intimately what it is like to be under pressure to perform well in school and on tests and therefore can relate to students under similar circumstances.
