Hello, I have my Bachelor of Arts in Sports Science, Exercise Science. After I graduated, became a Pre-School Teacher on March 25, 2015. The following ages three- to five-year-old. I have experience working with children who have autism. In 2019, I received my Substitute License from the IL State Board of Education. After three long years working in a school district as a Sub, I decided to get back into school. I had the pleasure working with the kindergartens through the fourth graders. Doing bus and lunch duty faithfully. The year 2025 is becoming much brighter for my six year old daughter and I! I will be starting online classes with cybersecurity, focusing on Sports broadcasting and this Summer going back my Masters as an Occupational Therapist. My daughter is chapter reading currently. I am most passionate about English, Reading, and Science. Education has always been a main priority for me. I will provide the basic tools for your child or children, to be successful throughout their education journey. I enjoy reading my Bible, singing, and making long lasting memories with my daughter.

I am a graduate of Yale University, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in History. I received two prizes for my senior thesis, and was a Yale Journalism Scholar. At Yale, I worked as a French tutor for two years and served as a Sports Editor at the Yale Daily News. After college, I served for two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the West African nation of Guinea-Conakry. There, I taught 5th grade full-time in French to 60 students in a village elementary school and tutored local high school students in English. My time in Guinea cemented my love of working with children and teenagers, and I am currently pursuing a career as a teacher. I tutor a broad range of subjects, but am most passionate about French and History/Social Studies. I received my degree from the University of Redlands in Asian Studies with a minor in English, and I hope to continue my studies in English or Literature in the near future. I have been working with Varsity Tutors for almost three years and have tutored many students for the SSAT on elementary, middle and upper school levels. Most of my students have substantially increased their scores enabling them to be admitted to the schools they wanted. I have had very successful results by working with my students by analyzing their skills and adapting our sessions to their favored methods of learning.
