I graduated from the University of Delaware with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education.I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Education Policy and Leadership from American University. Throughout my undergraduate experience, I spent a lot of time tutoring elementary and middle school students in reading and math. I also led two summer programs in which I facilitated STEM and teamwork activities with elementary aged students. Since graduation, I have spent two years teaching 5th and 6th grade English Language Arts in Boston, MA. I really enjoy working with my students to adapt my instruction in order to make it work for them. I believe education is really individualized-- every student learns differently and I am passionate about delivering instruction that is fun, engaging and relevant to each student!
