Hi my name is Cara and I am a rising Senior at William and Mary studying Mathematics and Government. I have been tutoring for more than eight years now and love to help students discover how math can be fun!

Currently, I am a graduate student studying Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Community College Teaching. I recently received my B.S. in Theoretical Mathematics at Ohio State University. I have always enjoyed helping students have a better understanding in mathematics. I love tutoring and being able to substitute teach students. Teaching is my passion.

I heard someone say that everyone starts out liking math. But they meet that one math teacher or class or even a problem that intimidates them, possibly embarrasses them. And they build a wall and find it hard to continue liking math. I want to show them an easier way to understand the concepts; I want people to like math.
