I have a degree in Physics from Virginia Tech with a minor in Astronomy. Since graduating in 2017, I went on to teach high school Physics, AP Physics, and Astronomy for 2 years before leaving to pursue graduate school in physics. I also founded and coached the FRC Robotics Team (#7315 Giga Kinghts!!) at the school I taught at. Throughtout that time I tutored SAT Math and Physics off-and-on on the side.

My tutoring style changes based on your needs. If you just need a tutor to help you figure out some tricky problems on homework, I can help. Or, maybe you are completely lost and need to start from the basics. I can provide 1-on-1 lessons to get you back on track.

Obviously, physics is my passion and the subject I am most interested in, but I also have a deep respect for mathematics and am able to tutor a wide range of math topics as well.

Beyond academics, my other passion is woodworking. I love to make things out of wood, from small stuff like mechanical pencils to large furniture that I use everyday. I'm also a huge fan of video games and reading in my spare time. World of Warcraft, the original Halo trilogy, and anything written by Patrick Rothfuss and Brandon Sanderson are a some of my all time favorites.
