I believe that improving one's self is the highest pursuit in life, and that institutions dedicated to the improvement of one's self are sacred. As such, I have dedicated myself to both improvement of myself and to assisting others in their own self-improvement. I am both a student and a teacher.

...the year award there one year. I am always ready to learn more math and share any knowledge of it with other people (in fact I enjoy doing both!). I believe the best way to learn math is to understand the underlying concepts behind mathematical problems, to understand the problem-solving techniques used to solve specific 'types' of math problems, and to question why (to be curious about) certain mathematical truths are what they are.

I am a senior studying English Literature and Philosophy at Barrett the Honors College at ASU. In addition to being a tutor, I have worked as a teacher for an after school program at a local charter school as well as a TA in a 5th grade classroom. I have experience tutoring grades K-12 and am very passionate about helping people to love learning! I'm very excited to meet you.
