I am Reagan, a current freshman at The University of Dallas in Irving, Texas. I am a Biochemistry major with a focus on pre-med studies. I went to a performing arts high school where I studied vocal performance and opera studies, and I took the AP Music Theory Test and received a 5!

I have worked with young children for over sixteen years in a variety of roles and settings. Before becoming a public elementary school teacher, my experience included child/day care centers, Pre-Schools, after-school programs, private tutoring, substitute teaching, and owning and operating my own licensed child care center for several years. Educating children is my passion and all I have ever done!

Since as long ago as I can remember I have always been fascinated by the natural world. That childish fascination has not left me but deepened over the years. This interest has led me to my love of biology, ecology, animal behavior and evolution.

Teaching has always been my passion throughout. I have started teaching right from my college days. To summarize, my teaching philosophy boils down to three key goals: to always challenge my students to excel and expand their capabilities; to always challenge myself to do the same in my teaching, and to constantly explore and implement exciting new curriculum innovations.

I am a recent graduate of UTDallas and I majored in Actuarial Science, a statistics degree geared towards insurance. I also have an associate degree in Mathematics from Collin College.
