We covered change in enthalpy, heat of reactions, electromagnetism, molecular geometry, electron configurations, and Lewis structures. The student has a great attitude toward learning the materials. He was struggling a bit with the Lewis structures, but we went over those thoroughly and I explained to him about the Octet rule, which seemed to help. I showed him how to do Stoichiometry which help him do conversions much easier.

Microbiology Tutoring review by Jiseop in Delaware County, PA
Today was the first lesson. We briefly went over stoichiometry. She had a good grasp of how to balance equations. We just needed to work on the next step which was to use the balanced equation so that we can find the limiting reagent as well as find how much of the product would be produced. The student really liked going over all the concepts even though some of them were very basic. I thought this was important since it would be much easier to understand all the other concepts if she has a good idea of the basics. I try to explain and tell her how to do the problems first, and then let her continue to solve the problem.
