The student and I first reviewed his math homework. We then looked through the chapter book he is reading for English, and he began a worksheet with vocab and reading comprehension questions from the book. After our session, he will need to read the next two chapters of that book and complete the worksheet for class tomorrow.

We went over the template of the student's PowerPoint presentation of "Fault In Our Stars" for her English class. She was struggling initially with formatting an outline for her PowerPoint. We were able to create one that works best for her. She had a very positive attitude and was very polite during our session. She was eager and ready to learn. She stayed focused and on task. I left her with a few basic instructions to complete on her PowerPoint before we meet again tomorrow. She has a great personality and is easy to work with.
