I am a teacher that enjoys seeing children grow. I have a passion for educating and watching children change and see their achievements. I have my teaching degree in Prek-4th grade education from West Chester University. Currently, I am a first grade teacher.

I love outdoors, kayaking, swimming- an REI member. I love movies! I have had interesting experiences in far away countries. I care about the environment.... I teach by using examples from real life. That helps students understand material easily and memorize it without much effort.

In my experience, students who can develop a positive association with education tend to be more successful with school. As a teacher, I do my best to not only educate, but to convey the importance of learning.... After a brief conversation about their attitude towards school, I would administer a diagnostic assessment to determine the child's current levels of achievement.
