Now that it is time to take the Series 7 exam, you can benefit from additional Boston Series 7 exam preparation.
What do I need to know for the Series 7 exam?
Prospective US stockbrokers need to take and pass the Series 7 exam before they can obtain their trading licenses. The Series 7 exam is a qualification exam that is taken after candidates have already passed the SIE exam. The goal of the Series 7 exam is to assess candidates' knowledge of things such as investment risk, equity, taxation, and retirement plans.
The Series 7 exam has 125 questions, which will be presented in a multiple-choice format. You will have 225 minutes to complete the questions. You must achieve a score of 72 percent in order to pass the test.
The exam will focus on four main skill sets. The majority of questions will focus on skills such as providing customers with information about investments, recommending investment opportunities, transferring assets, and maintaining records. Other skills include seeking business from potential customers, verifying agreements, and opening accounts.
How can I benefit from taking a Boston Series 7 exam prep course?
There are two kinds of Series 7 exam preparation that you can get. Varsity Tutors can help you enroll in a course or set you up with a private tutor. Our online classes take place in our virtual classrooms. You can use our video chat to interact with your instructor and the other students in the class. Even though you will never leave your home, you can feel as if you were in the same room. Taking an online class is a great way to save money and time as you can skip commuting through traffic and avoid paying transportation fees.
When taking a Boston Series 7 exam prep class, you can ask questions, which your instructor can respond to. The entire class can benefit when a student asks a question, as it can bring to light misunderstandings on the part of some students. Alternatively, the teacher can present a question to the class with the goal of sparking an enlightening discussion.
Another option is studying with a private Boston Series 7 exam tutor. Students who prefer individualized attention can benefit from one-on-one time with someone who can cater to their specific needs. Studying with a private mentor also gives you more flexibility. You can schedule mentoring sessions so that they take place on the hours you are free.
A private mentor can focus on the areas which you need additional help with, such as arbitrage, and avoid wasting time on concepts you are already familiar with, such as the rights of common stockholders. You can ask as many questions as you want without fear of holding up a class. You can schedule more mentoring sessions if you feel that you need more preparation.
Your private instructor can understand your learning style and adapt their tutoring methods accordingly. You can move at a pace that works best for you. On the other hand, you may find that a class moves too quickly or slowly for you. Your instructor can patiently go over a concept until you feel that you have gained a better understanding of it and you are ready to move on.
You can use our virtual whiteboard to study with your private instructor online. Some students might prefer to meet their instructor in person. An in-person meeting at your home, your local library, or anywhere else you feel comfortable can also be arranged.
How can I sign up for Boston Series 7 exam prep?
