I am a recent graduate of Northwestern University, where I recieved my Bachelor of Science in Social Policy and Legal Studies with minors in Black Studies and Civic Engagement. I am an incoming Human Rights Studies Master's student at Columbia University. During my time in college, I have worked with various nonprofits and organizations to defend voting rights, increase civic engagement in minority communities, and advocate for human rights for all, especially the most marginalized. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Literature, and History. I also enjoy working with students to increase their public speaking skills and confidence, as I participated in Speech and Debate all four years in high school. As a recent graduate from a top ten university, I also provide standardized test prep (SAT and ACT), as well as college admissions essay writing and workshopping. I love to work with all students, as I have experience mentoring and working with children, individuals with autism, and adults. I understand firsthand the immense value and opportunity that education holds, and consequently, the importance of having quality mentors. I am here to support all students on their journey by building a professional relationship of mutual respect and understanding.
