I hold a Bachelor's degree in Childhood Education (Grades 16) from SUNY Old Westbury and a Master's degree in TESOL (K12) from St. John's University. Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse student populations in general education, ICT, dual language, and both integrated and standalone English as a New Language (ENL) classrooms. I have also tutored children ranging in age from 4 to 12. I am especially passionate about teaching reading and math, as I believe a strong foundation in these subjects is essential for long-term academic success. I also enjoy preparing elementary students for standardized tests, helping them gain confidence and skills. I strive to provide every student with equal opportunities to learn and grow, recognizing that not all students receive the same support outside of school. I make it a priority to identify learning gaps and offer the support needed to help each student succeed. Outside the classroom, I enjoy cooking, trying new foods, and traveling to explore different cultures and traditions. I love sharing with my students to enrich their learning.
