I enjoy teaching science and math, especially high school. Having taught most grade levels, I have found that no two students learn the same wayso I tailor my teaching to meet each student's unique needs. If a student needs help grasping a challenging concept or wants to move ahead, I focus on building their confidence and understanding step by step.
I now teach and tutor classes at J. M. Hanks High School in the Ysleta Independent School District. This real-world experience has reaffirmed my commitment to mentoring students to not only grow academically, but also problem-solving.
My favorite moment as a tutor is when something just clicks, a light bulb moment, where you see the confidence and excitement building in a student. It's really worth it, and it's why I get to love what I do.
I am currently pursuing my bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering and completing my minor in mathematics. I am confident that that I can help all of my students.
