I'm a nurse educator currently pursuing my PhD in nurse work environments and nursing education. I have a passion for helping nursing students and new nurses succeed. I've worked extensively with students in both academic and clinical settings, and I truly enjoy guiding learners through the challenges of nursing school and NCLEX preparation.

Teaching is more than a job for meit's something I genuinely love. I take pride in breaking down complex topics like pharmacology, pathophysiology, and care planning into understandable concepts. I also enjoy helping students develop strong test-taking strategies, manage test anxiety, and build the confidence they need to excel.

My goal is always to create a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style. Whether you're preparing for exams or trying to master clinical reasoning, I'm here to help you feel prepared, empowered, and ready to take on the next step in your nursing journey.

Hobbies

Outside of tutoring and teaching, I have a strong interest in clinical and social behavioral research, especially as it relates to nursing education and patient outcomes. I'm currently involved in doctoral work that explores these areas in depth. On a more personal note, I’m a proud parent of 5, which brings both joy and perspective to everything I do. I love spending time outdoors—whether it’s hiking, running, or exploring new places when traveling. I’m also a big fan of college athletics (Go Vols!) and enjoy relaxing with a crochet project when I get the chance. These hobbies help me stay grounded, energized, and connected—qualities I bring into every tutoring session.
