I am a graduate in Economics and Policy. I have been taught in both state schools and have had the privilege of going to a private school.
I will apply effective study tips I have learned over the years to optimise exam results.
In essence we have to understand the concept and where it fits into the wider picture.
Together we will build up the tree from the trunk then the branches before we worry about the little details like the leaf's. .
We will focus on your weaknesses. When it comes to exams you have to avoid the temptation to focus on the things you are good at.
I teach Maths to primary school. Maths is one of those subjects where you have to practice practice practice. In class across the various topics my students will be taught the method of active recall and spaced repetition. The more my students retrieve information the better their memory forms. Spaced repetition interrupts the forgetting curve!
