I am a graduate of the University of Florida, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science with an emphasis in Sports Medicine. After graduation, I became certified as a Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine. I also completed a certificate program in Paramedicine and Critical Care Transport Medicine, and I am Certified through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as a Paramedic. As a fitness trainer and health coach, I assist clients with their personal goals and quality of life. As a ground paramedic and air medical provider, I have assisted patients during times of urgent need. Both careers have been rewarding in many ways and all the while, I have been instructing and tutoring students that have goals to do the same. I enjoy sharing experiences and knowledge with students and providing a practical learning style that meets each individual's needs. I have experience teaching and coaching students that are preparing for certifications with both nationally recognized personal training agencies and as an Emergency Medical Technician with the National Registry of EMTs. I also enjoy tutoring in the fields of life science and mathematics. I believe that passion and a quest for continuing knowledge and skills for these careers is essential and I enjoy sharing my passion for the same. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, backpacking, fitness conditioning, adventure travel, researching journals, watching documentaries/movies and continuing with my quest for knowledge and adventure.
