I regard myself to be an outstanding teacher with over 15 years experience in FE delivery and for the past 4 years I have been working in the independent sector at a local grammar school as a Sixth Form Psychology teacher. Prior to that, I was the Team Leader for A-level AQA Psychology at a local FE college.
My most recent results for 22-23 were 100% pass rate A*-C for A-level Psychology. The student I tutored last year via the Varsity platform was achieving C grades in mock assessments and then achieved a final B grade for their A-level and accepted a place at their first choice university.
I have also over 9 year experience marking Psychology A-level papers for AQA, so I am very confident in advising students on what the examiner is looking for in their responses to achieve the highest marks. I pride myself on being able to form a quick rapport with my students that is built on trust, respect and the confidence that I will be able to support and guide them with their education. I am confident with using Microsoft Teams and other virtual platforms to deliver remote lessons.
