I'm a retired professor who taught statistics for many years. To be a good citizen these days, you have to know a little statistics, because many people will try to convince you of many things with statistics, and you need to be able to separate the truth from the lies.

I am a special education teacher with a strong background in teach phonics and am a Certified Wilson Instructor. In addition I was also a regular education elementary teacher. I have been teaching for 6 years. I love working with students. I like to start with students' strengths and build upon those skills. I look forward to working with your child in attaining their goals.

I am available to teach high school Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I have lots of passion to help students learning in different ways. There are 100 learning ways if there are 100 students. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematical Sciences from University of Connecticut and Master of Arts in Teaching (Secondary Mathematics) from University of Southern California. I am a concentrator in the History of Science which involves the study of the development of knowledge. It is amazing to see how systems and thought evolve. History of Science has been amazing in changing my consideration of what is science and who gets a chance to live in our world which inspired my change to the non-medical path of history of science towards public health.

I am an 8th grade Language Arts teacher with a passion for reading and writing. I love the way reading a novel can pick you up and bring you anywhere. Someplace magical, someplace mysterious. Writing is an outlet used for expression and can be very therapeutic. Finding your creativity is a fun way to get to know yourself better.
