I graduated from the University of West Florida with my bachelors in Nursing, as well as my Masters in Nursing Education. I currently teach undergraduate nursing students and enjoy it immensely! My experience as a nurse included progressive cardiac care and intensive care nursing.
I enjoy helping students put the pieces together and see the bigger picture when it comes to clinical judgment and clinical reasoning. Seeing the light bulb moment is one of the joys of teaching! Making it through nursing school can be daunting, and the NCLEX can cause much anxiety. I strive to increase student confidence and remind them that they can do it!
In my spare time, I spend time with my family, my 2 dogs, and try to read as much as I can!
