I have a love of children and a love of learning. After spending years at home raising my son, I felt called to enroll in college for the second time to become an elementary school teacher. Four years later I am graduating with a second bachelors degree in elementary education December 2020. My student teaching experience occurred during the pandemic in an online environment. In these unusual circumstances, I was successful teaching and creating meaningful relationships with my students. I strive to help my students gain confidence in themselves and their abilities by strengthening their fundamental understanding of concepts. I also work to inspire a love of learning in my students and to help them achieve academic success so they can reach for their dreams.
