I am a graduate of Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO. I received my Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a focus on technical writing and public affairs. Since graduation, I have traveled extensively, working in 9 countries around the world. I have over 30 years' experience in all areas of the engineering and technical world. I have been intimately involved in production, quality assurance, continuous improvement and documentation. Most recently, I found my calling as a coach and career specialist, guiding college students as they design their coursework and career goals. I have experience tutoring young engineers and technicians in math, algebra, geometry, science, writing and communicating so that they can be successful in their new careers. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about math, science and writing. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, fishing, gardening, running, and video games (in moderation, of course).
