I am a pediatric occupational therapist working primarily in outpatient pediatrics, and I love my job! I graduated from Thomas Jefferson University's master of occupational therapy program in August 2019, so I'm just fresh enough out of school that I have the up to date knowledge from my NBCOT exam in September 2019, but also have enough experience in the field to bring in real-life examples to make studying more meaningful. I believe strongly in the importance of customizing learning according to areas of strengths and weaknesses and will help you not only study for the exam but organize your studying while being efficient. I was able to study for the NBCOT while still in classes and only took 3 weeks to study post-graduation before taking the exam, so I know first-hand how to find time to balance studying with other commitments. I have 5+ years of experience in tutoring various subjects and am confident that we can work together to enhance your studying! I look forward to working with you.
Education & Certification
Undergraduate Degree: Muhlenberg College - Bachelor in Arts, Psychology
Graduate Degree: Thomas Jefferson University - Master of Science, Occupational Therapy
Outside of work, I love to spend time in nature - hiking, walking, kayaking on the lake nearby, etc. I really enjoy reading when I have time and do Pilates to stay fit and save my back at work (this is very important in peds!). I also love spending time with friends and family and eating good food, as well as hanging out with my new cat - Linc!
