I just graduated from Collegiate School in Richmond, VA. I will be attending Davidson College in the fall as a Belk Scholar! I am planning on pursuing a major in Sociology along with the pre-med track. I have peer tutored at my school, and while I do tutor a wide variety of subject areas, I am most passionate about tutoring any elementary and middle school subjects such as math, english, reading, science, or Spanish. I feel this way because my younger brother is 11, and I have always loved helping him with school work since he was a little kid. I think that the fundamentals are so important to grasp because a strong base will always lead to more success in the future. I am super flexible with time, who I teach, and how I teach, and I will always do my absolute best to make the student feel at ease and comfortable. I want to get to know the student well, because I think a good relationship is the first step in a good learning environment and also because I love meeting new people and making new friends :). In my free time, I love hanging out with my friends and family, playing tennis, doing pottery, and cooking!
