Do you or your student struggle with the difference between affect and effect? Are you unsure where to start when crafting an arguable thesis? Are you reading Romeo and Juliet in class and Early Modern English makes thee taketh ill?
As a recent graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison double majoring in English and BioSystems Engineering, I love sharing my passion for English with all ages.
My guiding teaching philosophy is that teaching is a two way interaction. I am focused on tailoring a unique teaching strategy to the specific way each student learns. I learn just as much as the student does. I feel so rewarded when both myself and the student reach that "A ha" moment. From persuasive essays, literary analysis, or Shakespeare, to application essays, and standardized test prep, I'm your girl!
