My passion is preparing students (both traditional and non-traditional) with the skills they need to be successful in any field that involves math or science. These skills not only encompass the technical knowledge necessary to obtain a skilled position, but also the communication and the critical thinking skills needed to solve problems and successfully communicate the solutions. I get excited and very involved with activities and programs that promote STEM related fields and specifically generate interest in engineering and engineering technology within our youth. To put it simply...I love teaching. I find it very rewarding...knowing I have helped a student overcome an obstacle or helped them to find courage they didn't know they had. Or helped them to see that value that I see in them.
