I chose elementary education as my major because I want to make a positive impact into the lives of our young learners. Today's young males, specifically, lack positive role models that speak and demonstrate how a man conducts himself in a vibrant and moral society. Lately, passion and urgency are driving my commitment to become a teacher. I believe God has placed a level of patience and grace within me, that others have affirmed, which can assist me by instilling what our youth need in today's learning environment.
