After teaching at the college level for more than 6 years I have learned that a confident learner is an independent learner.
One of the most important keys to success is to grow confident in a subject. I love chemistry! And I have learned how to move past the 'word problem' into a deep understanding of the subject. I also enjoy teaching Spanish; as a native speaker of the language, I understand how to move past the vocabulary memorization.
