I am a recent Summa Cum Laude graduate of Daemen College where I received my Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry with a minor in chemistry. I am an aspiring physician currently in the process of applying for medical school with an expected matriculation for the fall of 2018. During my time in higher education, I have been an unofficial tutor to many of my fellow classmates, being a student that many in my program would come to for help. Therefore, I want to mimic this student to student-like approach. I aim to meet students at your level, breakdown confusing concepts and help discover what works best for them. I can help students prepare for an upcoming exam, strengthen weak areas throughout a course, or just gain a competitive edge. Serving as a personal guide, I want to be attuned to a students personal needs and meet those needs with an individualized plan. In the end, I believe that learning how to think and striving to find something interesting serves a student far better overall than sheer memorization. Besides my goal of becoming a doctor and having a passion for learning, I am a young married father of three wonderful boys. I love family, soccer, and studying the Bible. I can assist a variety of students in a variety of subjects in an enjoyable way, meeting students where they are and occasionally allowing my corny dad humor to shine through.
