Math, sciences and language arts are important both for professional success and living a meaningful and fulfilling life. They are tools with which we can understand our true selves and the world around us. Therefore, helping students grasp the multitude of concepts in these disciplines is a way helping them manifest their potential, and that is a worthwhile endeavor.
Prior to joining Varsity Tutors, I served as a tutor for classmates in high school. For the last for four years I have also mentored middle school students through weekly meetings aimed at improving their reading skills and powers of expression. I also help my middle school sister with math homework.
I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Earth and Environmental Engineering at Columbia University and am currently working toward my Masters of Business Administration at the University of Southern California.
Outside of the classroom I am passionate about driving social chance through business and community development.
